Yu-Tung Yang

My name is Yu-Tung Yang, and I am currently a first-year master’s student in the IBMBA program at NSYSU. I chose IBMBA because I wanted a program that goes beyond theory, one that integrates global perspectives, practical experience, and interdisciplinary learning to prepare students for real-world business challenges.

Before joining IBMBA, I built a solid foundation in finance through internships in the banking sector. At Hua Nan Bank and Taizhou Bank, I gained hands-on experience in wealth management, corporate banking, and risk analysis. I participated in balance sheet analysis, observed client advisory sessions, and learned how financial decisions are made under regulatory and market constraints. These experiences helped me understand how financial knowledge is applied in practice and sparked my interest in connecting finance with broader business strategy.

IBMBA has significantly expanded that perspective. The program emphasizes critical thinking, case-based learning, and international business analysis, allowing me to link my financial background with global market insights. Courses encourage us to approach problems from multiple angles strategy, data, culture, and ethics, which has strengthened my analytical and decision-making skills. The diverse classroom environment also enriches discussions, as students bring different academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds into every conversation. Beyond academics, IBMBA offers a vibrant and supportive learning community. Through group projects, presentations, and extracurricular activities, I have learned how to collaborate effectively, communicate ideas clearly, and manage time under pressure.

Looking ahead, IBMBA has helped me clarify my career vision. I aim to pursue a role that bridges finance, marketing, and international business, particularly in industries that value data- driven decision-making and global collaboration. IBMBA is not just a degree program, which is a platform for personal growth, professional development, and global connection. I am grateful to be part of a program that continuously challenges me to think bigger and grow further.
