My time at NSYSU as part of the IBMBA program has been one of the most memorable and meaningful chapters of my life. When I first chose to study at National Sun Yat sen University, I hoped for a strong academic experience in an international environment. What I found was that and so much more, a truly transformative journey that exceeded every expectation.

Studying on the NSYSU campus felt like a once in a lifetime experience. Few universities can offer such a unique blend of academic rigor and natural beauty. Having lectures just steps away from the ocean, surrounded by lush mountains and a vibrant student community, made every day feel both inspiring and grounding. The program itself challenged me to grow intellectually and personally. Working with classmates from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds broadened my global perspective and taught me to collaborate across differences, a skill that I know I will carry into my career.

Outside the classroom, Kaohsiung quickly became a place I felt proud to call home. The quality of life was beyond anything I had imagined before arriving. The food scene was incredible, from night market snacks to hidden local restaurants, every meal felt like a discovery. The nature in and around the city offered endless opportunities to recharge, whether hiking mountain trails, walking along the beach at sunset, or exploring nearby islands on the weekends. And above all, the warmth and kindness of the local people made the experience deeply welcoming from day one.

Looking back, my time at NSYSU gave me not just a degree, but lifelong friendships, personal growth, and a connection to Taiwan that will always stay with me. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity, and I would encourage anyone seeking a globally minded education paired with an unforgettable living experience to take the step and join the IBMBA community.
