“Is it worth pursuing a master’s degree abroad when you already have a stable job and a comfortable life back in your home country?” A few years ago, my answer would have been unquestionably no, as I valued stability and wasn’t ready to take such a big risk. But life is full of choices and unexpected decisions, and we never truly know where it will lead us. My daily life used to pass by comfortably with relaxation. Yet, I often asked myself, “Do I dare to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself?” Eventually, I took that leap and found a new version of myself here at NSYSU.
The IBMBA program at NSYSU is far more than just a typical master’s course; it’s a precious opportunity to deepen our knowledge and apply real-world insights. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed for IBMBA students, giving us a solid foundation and a competitive advantage for the future. What I truly treasure most, however, is the dedication of our professors, as their passion continually inspires and motivates us every day.
My perspectives and social circle have broadened in ways I never imagined. Our cohort is made up of students from all around the world, creating the feeling that we are living in a miniature version of the global community right here at NSYSU. The more I immerse myself, the closer I feel to becoming a true global citizen. Right at NSYSU, I’ve become the best version of myself.
I often tell friends that Kaohsiung is the “beautiful Sun city,” and NSYSU is its heart. Every scene on campus—whether it’s the deep blue sky or the stunning turquoise sea blending with the brick-orange buildings—never fails to amaze me. The beauty of this place is truly breathtaking.
I am deeply grateful that I chose this program. Occasionally, you can’t just wait until you feel 100% ready; you have to throw yourself into the deep end. And when you do, you’ll find that you’ll never be disappointed.
